Smartcel™ Clima (phase/temperature changing fiber)
Paraffin embedded in highly crystalline and tear-resistant cellulose fiber creates unequaled micro composite accumulators which can be processed, inducing comparable textile features that create greater heat accumulator capacity. Depending on the choice of natural eco-friendly paraffin, the temperature of heat absorption (up to 80 joules per gram of fiber) can be adjusted according to application. Thus stable phase changing temperatures can be created for cooling or warming effects.
Smartcel™ Clima fiber is a PCM(Phase Changing Material) micro composite of the latest manufacturing generation with thermo regulating features. It is an essential technological functional improvement in comparison to the classic phase change materials currently on the market.
