These functional fibers were created as a result of a passion for the earth and a realization that, we as a people, need more than ever, natural sustainable products. We are concerned about our environment in which we are inseparably a part of, and therefore interested in creating products that would engage nature's natural sustainable abilities in order to improve our lives as humans, as well as our animal friends and the health of the earth on which we live. As a result of this environmental concern, we have worked for decades to create textile products that achieve many varying remarkable functions.


WHAT WE DO:

We develop, distribute and manufacture various functional fibers, finished textile fabrics and cut and sown retail products which achieve exceptional functional performance features and efficiencies such as, the world's most effective temperature regulation phase changing fibers, active functional fibers that have anti-fouling abilities by controlling bacterial regeneration, fibers that have physical electrical conductivity properties, dyeing processes that provides 95% reduction of caustic chemicals to our fresh water systems and abilities to tremendously reduce the use of energy by 97% and much, much more. As a result, these fibers and materials are the most innovative, sustainable high tech and marketable products for home, industry and military use that are available today. HOW WE DO IT:

We do this by creating fibers by adding functional non-organic additives that are homogeneously integrated with cellulose organic pulp (which is tree fiber drawn from replenishable Poplar tree farms), that achieve functionality through an intimately binding process and are NOT surface applied or sprayed on as all other companies claim for their so-called functional products, all having very short usefulness and far less functional uses in quantity and quality and usually only claiming various antimicrobial functions of one sort or other, whereas our cellulose fibers are manufactured for many different uses spanning throughout many different industries and use for many diverse purposes.

Xtremearth products contain Smartcel TM Fibers:

Smartcel Sensitive- These fibers contain zinc.  The zinc disrupts bacterial metabolism which prohibits growth of odor causing bacteria.  The presence of zinc allows the natural, soft and pure skin care that we are so accustomed.

Smartcel Bioactive- Our great-grandparents put a silver coin in water or milk to preserve freshness.  We know today that silver inhibits the growth of bacteria by deactivating the bacteria's oxygen metabolic enzymes.  These silver ions naturally stops production of odor producing microorganisms.

Smartcel Clima- This fabric is a PCM (Phase Changing Material) micro composite of the latest manufacturing with thermo regulating features.  They absorb excessive body heat and dispense it and provide extraordinary wearing comfort.

Seacell -These fabrics have the power of seaweed in a fiber. Our textiles facilitate the active exchange of substances between the fiber and the skin, nutrients such as calcium, magnesium and vitamin E.  These nutrients are released by the natural body mositure when worn. They have advantages such as breathability and softness as well.
